A live edge table preserves the natural contour of the tree, showcasing the organic edge exactly as it grew.

Unlike conventional furniture, no two slabs are alike. Each carries its own grain movement, figure, color variation, and natural markings. Once finished, the true depth and warmth of the wood emerge, revealing details that only real hardwood can provide.

SOURCING THE RIGHT SLAB FOR YOUR PROJECT

Every project begins with finding the right piece of wood.

Some slabs are discovered quickly. Others require months or even years of searching. Depending on your vision, we may source a striking Claro Walnut, timeless White Oak, richly colored Black Walnut, or a highly figured Burl selected specifically for your project.

BUILT FOR GENERATIONS

Before a slab can become a table, it must be properly seasoned and stabilized.

Air Dried

Each slab is naturally seasoned for three years or longer, depending on thickness and species.

Kiln Dried

The wood is then kiln dried in a controlled environment for several weeks, bringing it to true furniture grade stability.

This process helps ensure your table remains beautiful and structurally sound for generations.

Two sequential slabs from the same log are joined side by side to create a dramatic mirrored grain pattern.

Miller Seamed

Multiple boards from the same species are carefully joined to create a larger surface while maintaining visual harmony and continuous grain flow. Ideal for larger dining and conference tables.

Epoxy River Tables

Epoxy resin casting transforms otherwise challenging sections of wood into defining design features, preserving more of the tree’s natural character and creating striking finished works such as epoxy river tables, where hardwood and resin flow together as a single composition.
