1. Bespoke Furniture: What to Expect

Every piece is custom-made to order, crafted from solid American hardwood by skilled hands. The beauty of the work lies in its individuality.

Natural Character
Variations in tone, grain, and texture are not flaws. They are the fingerprint of the tree and the mark of an authentic piece.

Handcrafted Latitude
Our craftspeople may make subtle decisions at the workbench to best showcase the wood's organic character. These variations are intentional and ensure your piece remains singular.

True Dimensions
Solid wood is a dynamic material. Final dimensions may vary slightly in rare cases. If your space requires absolute precision, let us know during the design process and we will lock those measurements in together.

Digital Renderings, AI, and True Beauty
To help bring your vision to life, we often use conceptual sketches, electronic artistic renderings, or AI-assisted visualizations. While these digital tools are wonderful for inspiration, they simply cannot replicate the deep, tactile richness and warmth of a finished piece of natural wood. The physical item you receive will always possess an authentic beauty that technology cannot match.

2. Orders & Timelines

Made to Order
Once your design is finalized and production begins, deposits and progress payments secure your place in our workshop. All orders are considered a commitment and are generally non-refundable. If your circumstances change, reach out and we will find the best path forward together.

Lead Times
We will not rush the craftsmanship or curing process. Lead times may shift based on design complexity or material availability. Your representative will keep you informed throughout.

3. Shipping & Logistics

Domestic & International
We coordinate shipping across the continental United States and Canada. For international clients, we facilitate the handoff and documentation with your preferred carrier.

Packaging
Large furniture pieces travel via specialized freight in custom-built wooden crates engineered for each order. Smaller items are packed with high-density cushioning for full protection.

Shipping Costs
Calculated transparently on a per-order basis during the purchasing process.

Damage in Transit
In the rare event of carrier mishandling, photograph the damage and notify us within 48 hours of delivery. We will step in immediately to repair, replace, or resolve the situation.

4. Warranty & Product Care

Our Commitment
Atelier Jorn warrants all pieces to be free from defects in materials and structural workmanship at the time of delivery. If you experience a structural concern, contact us. We review every situation individually and will always provide a fair resolution.

Wood Movement
All timber is air- and kiln-dried for stability. Wood will continue to respond to its environment over time. Minor movement, hairline splitting, or slight expansion due to seasonal humidity and temperature changes are normal characteristics of solid wood, not defects.

Care Instructions
Each order includes straightforward care instructions. Proper maintenance ensures your piece ages beautifully.
